is seeking a Public Relations
Coordinator
to develop and implement public relations strategies through analyzing and emphasizing communication with target markets and media outlets such as maintaining media coverage through news releases, journal articles, presentations, and audio/visual programs in order to enhance the image and increase the utilization of the programs and services of Autry Technology Center.
Must have superior written and oral communication skills and be knowledgeable of, understand and be able to utilize standard and innovative marketing techniques. Must be creative and able to translate that creativity into news stories and advertisements. The ability to communicate well with individuals of diverse backgrounds is essential. Experience in creative direction of layout and design a plus. Familiarity with use of social media for PR and Marketing purposes. Experience with InDesign and Photoshop.
Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field preferred. Minimum of three years' experience in journalism, community relations and/or marketing position preferred.
