ORDINANCE 324-26
AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF NORTH ENID, OKLAHOMA, AMENDING ORDINANCE 298-16. PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF CONFLICTING ORDINANCES; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS: The Town of North Enid is a municipal corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State of Oklahoma; and
WHEREAS: The Town Council has the authority pursuant to Title 11 of the Oklahoma Statutes to enact and amend ordinances for the governance, safety, and welfare of the Town; and
WHEREAS: Ordinance No. 298-16 was previously adopted by the Town Council; and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF NORTH ENID, OKLAHOMA.
SECTION I. Amendment of Existing Ordinance
That Ordinance No. 298-16 of the Town of North Enid, Oklahoma, is hereby amended to read as follows:
Lots 15 & 16, Block 39 in the Guthrie Addition to the Town of North Enid
SECTION II. That on taking effect of this Ordinance, the zoning districts map is amended as follows:
Lots 15 & 16, Block 39, Guthrie Addition shall be changed from R-1 Residential to R-2 Medium Density Residential
SECTION III. Clerk authorized to make addition to Zoning District Map.
Said amendment hereinabove described is hereby authorized to be added to Official Zoning Districts to Official Zoning Districts Map of the Town of North Enid, Oklahoma by the Town Clerk.
SETION IV. REPEALER. All ordinances of parts thereof which are inconsistent with this ordinance are hereby repealed only to the extent of such conflict
SECTION V. SAVINGS CLAUSE. Nothing in this Ordinance hereby adopted shall be construed to affect any suit our proceeding now pending in any court, or any right acquired or liability incurred, nor any cause or causes of action accrued or existing, under any act or ordinance repealed hereby. Nor shall any right or remedy of any character be lost, impaired or affected by this Ordinance.
SECTION VI. SEVERABILITY. The invalidity of any Section or provision of this Ordinance shall not invalidate other Section of provision thereof.
