Published in the Enid News&Eagle August 31, 2024 LPXLP (297) NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Garfield County Industrial Authority Pollution Control Revenue Refunding Bonds, Series 2024A (Oklahoma Gas and Electric Company Project) Notice is hereby given of a public hearing to be held on behalf of the Garfield County Industrial Authority (the Authority), Garfield County, Oklahoma, the beneficiary of the Authority, and Noble County, Oklahoma, the jurisdiction in which the Project (as defined herein) is located, on Monday, September 16, 2024, at 2:30 p.m. at the offices of the Authority located at the Strate Center for Business Development located at 2020 Willow Run Suite 100, Enid, Oklahoma 73703 with respect to the issuance by the Authority of its $47,000,000 aggregate principal amount of Pollution Control Revenue Refunding Bonds, Series 2024A (Oklahoma Gas and Electric Company Project), in one or more series (the Refunding Bonds). The proceeds of the Refunding Bonds will be loaned to Oklahoma Gas and Electric Company, an Oklahoma corporation (the Company), in order to refinance the outstanding amount of the Authoritys Adjustable Rate Pollution Control Revenue Refunding Bonds, 1995 Series A (Oklahoma Gas and Electric Company Project), which originally financed and refinanced certain air and water pollution control and sewage and solid waste disposal facilities (collectively, the Project), located at the Companys Sooner Generating Station located near 10800 County Road 230, Red Rock, Oklahoma 74651. The Company will be the owner of the Project. This notice is published and the hearing is to be held in satisfaction of the requirements of Section 147(f) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended. All interested persons are invited to attend such public hearing to express their views with respect with respect to the Project and the Refunding Bonds.
